Job Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team as Temporary Food Truck Staff for Edmonton K-Days. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, preparing and serving food, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate the point of sale system (Square) efficiently.
Educate guests on menu offerings and provide recommendations.
Work with kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and knives to prepare food.
Track inventory needs and monitor stock levels.
Communicate effectively with the team and work collaboratively (team size: 3-8 people).
Handle high-volume sales with poise and professionalism.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in food service or customer service is preferred but not required.
Ability to operate point of sale systems (Square) or willingness to learn.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-volume sales.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety practices.
Must be available to work all days of Edmonton K-Days (July 19-28, 2024).
