Job description A not-for-profit medical education and research organization based in Brampton ON, currently requires a full-time event, social media & website coordinator. This hybrid position requires working from the Brampton location office 3 days a week and virtually 2 days a week. Work days are Monday to Friday with occasional evenings and weekends. Skills

  • Highly proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Accurate and efficient document creation, formatting, and editing
  • Hosting virtual meetings (Zoom Events) and providing technical support
  • Social media management and email promotion campaigns
\xc2\xb7 Attention to detail for proofreading content before publishing \xc2\xb7 Basic graphic design skills to create visually appealing posts
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools
  • Creative document, email and social media design
  • Sponsorship requests, management and reporting
  • Providing on-site event logistical coordination
  • Coordinating event logistics including venue contracts, BEO\xe2\x80\x99s, setup requirements, registration and participant list management, speaker travel and transportation, audio-visual arrangements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure and against tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Proofreading
Proven ability to:
  • Prepare, proofread, and edit business letters and other communications with proper punctuation and grammar
  • Edit PowerPoint slides and apply animations and formatting
  • Create graphs and tables with Excel
  • Manage mail merge on Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Creative design for social media and other promotions

  • Co-Host Zoom meetings and webinars
  • Coordinate onsite and virtual logistics for events
  • Respond to and direct phone calls, emails, and faxes to other personnel
  • Maintain accurate notes and files for multiple projects
  • Work in a pleasant and professional manner as part of a team
Qualifications:
  • University or post-secondary education in Business Administration, Event Management, Marketing, or a related program
  • At least one year of administrative and event work experience
  • Living local to the Brampton area/GTA
Job Type: Full-time Salary: $24.00-$26.44 per hour Benefits:

Experience:
