Verdicchio Ristorante | Enoteca and Natura Events is hiring a server assistant / event server who shares our passion for good food, wine and cocktails.

10-15 hours a week

Duties:

Prepare Verdicchio dining room and Natura event space for dining with tables clothes, decorations, napkins, service plates, and utensils. In dining room, provide assistance to servers and their role in presenting menu; offering cocktails and aperitifs; suggesting courses; explaining the chef's specialties; identifying appropriate wines; answering food preparation questions. In event hall, serve food, offer cocktails and beverages, explain food. Serve orders by picking up and delivering customers' choices from bar and kitchen; delivering accompaniments and condiments from service bars. Responds to additional customers requirements by inquiring of needs; observing dining process. Maintain table setting by removing empty glasses and courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses and pouring wine; being alert to patron spills or other special needs. Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant; inviting patrons to return. Clean dining room and complete side work, refilling stations and resetting for next day, or next event. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Pay: From $17.20 per hour
