Job Summary

GAMEYARD is hiring a part-time Event Sales Representative to help grow bookings for our mobile, team-based laser tag events across Milton/Halton and the West GTA. This is a hybrid role (mostly remote) focused on outbound lead generation and sales: reaching out to schools, corporate teams, and community organizations, qualifying interest, preparing quotes, and converting inquiries into confirmed bookings. You'll work closely with our operations team to ensure a smooth handoff once an event is booked. Occasional local travel (within ~50 km) is required for meetings or community outreach.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain targeted prospect lists (schools, camps, corporate/HR contacts, community groups, recreation facilities). Conduct outbound outreach by phone, email, and LinkedIn (and other appropriate channels) to introduce GAMEYARD and generate qualified leads. Qualify leads by gathering event details (date, location, group size/age range, indoor/outdoor, goals, budget range when available). Present GAMEYARD's packages clearly, answer questions, and address common concerns (space, safety approach, scheduling, weather plans, pricing). Prepare and send quotes/invoices using company templates; follow up consistently to secure deposits and confirm bookings. Keep accurate notes and pipeline stages in our CRM/spreadsheet; provide a short weekly activity update (outreach, leads, quotes, bookings). Coordinate booking handoff to operations with complete event details (contact info, timing, address, player count, special notes). Attend occasional local meetings, school/community events, or outreach visits when needed.

Experience

Previous experience in outbound sales, lead generation, or booking services (events, recreation, local services, or B2B/B2C sales). Confident communicator by phone and email; comfortable speaking with school administrators and corporate coordinators. Organized follow-up habits and basic CRM discipline. Valid Ontario driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle; able to travel locally as needed. Nice to have: experience selling to schools/camps, HR/office teams, or community organizations in the GTA.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
