We're a creative, hands-on decor company specializing in weddings, galas, grads, and all kinds of celebrations. From florals and backdrops to centerpieces and linens, we bring ideas to life with style and heart. Position: Event Decor Associate

Type: Part-time (with potential for more hours depending on season)

What You'll Do:

This is a hands-on, jack-of-all-trades role that goes beyond decorating. You'll be involved in every step that makes an event possible, including:

Assist with

setup and teardown

of event decor (centerpieces, backdrops, florals, linens, etc.)

Prep decor

before events, including packing, ironing/steaming linens, and staging items in the warehouse

Maintain and organize the warehouse

, keeping inventory tidy and decor ready for use

Laundry and cleaning

of linens and other reusable decor pieces Load and unload decor items for transport to event venues Help design and assemble decor elements in our studio Collaborate with the owners to bring client visions to life Participate in creative brainstorming for upcoming events Take direction but also work independently during event setups
Who You Are:

A

jack-of-all-trades

--comfortable jumping between decorating, cleaning, organizing, and problem-solving Flexible, reliable, and eager to learn Detail-oriented and proud of doing great work Comfortable working both in a team and solo Genuinely interested in design, creativity, and the event industry Have access to a reliable vehicle (travel to events across the city required) Schooling in a related field or past experience is beneficial--but not required. We care more about your desire to be in the decor industry than your resume.
Schedule & Work Style:

Part-time to start, with potential to grow Must be available weekends Hours vary--setups can be as early as 10 AM, teardowns as late as 2 AM Some weekday shifts for warehouse organization, prep, and laundry Flexibility is key as the pace of work follows the event season
Compensation & Culture:

$16-$18/hour depending on experience Benefits not currently offered--but we're working toward it as we grow We value maturity, creativity, friendliness, and respect We're a small, supportive team that believes in hard work, fresh ideas, and the joy of bringing events to life
