Job Description

Superior EMS is currently seeking applicants for a number of contracts, events and non-emergent patient transfers.

Superior EMS has over 20 years' experience in the emergency services industry, offering our customers the highest degree of emergency services training, event medical and emergency services, and non-emergent patient transfer services in the Algoma District. Our training division provides emergency services training to the community including first aid, CPR, medical first responder, EMR, and advanced emergency care programs. The event medical and emergency services division provides top quality emergency medical services to community event, as well as fire suppression, and rescue operations.

Position Responsibilities:

Work with our primary and advanced care medics delivering event medical services and non-emergent patient transfers Monitors, observes and records changes in the patient's conditions and carries out the appropriate interventions Operates, and/or provides medical care in an ambulance type vehicle, or other vehicles assigned Ensures proper inventory checks and supplies prior to attending events Participates in ongoing continuing education provided Completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner

Qualifications Required Include:

Emergency Medical Responder Certification (or willingness to obtain) Current Basic Life Support CPR Have good oral and written communication skills Be of sound mind, and body as required to perform the duties of a medic Be of good character, be strongly motivated, and exhibit a positive attitude Be willing and able to learn, to take direction, and be a team player Be available to attend training, to attend emergencies, and to attend other activities as required Hold a valid "G" class license or greater Obtain an acceptable criminal record clearance and have a good driving record
