Event Marketing Manager
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Event Marketing Manager to join our team. As the Event Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for managing the marketing campaigns for 80+ events across the UK, Canada, US, Australia, and New Zealand. These events include awards, conferences, summits, and webinars. You will lead an international team of 10+ staff members and oversee all aspects of marketing, including design, copywriting, EDM deployment, and marketing systems management.

About the role:
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns for a diverse portfolio of events, ensuring the achievement of delegate targets and revenue forecasts.
  • Manage a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and direction
  • Oversee the marketing strategy and work closely with copywriters to ensure compelling and effective messaging.
  • Utilize marketing tools such as HubSpot to optimize campaign performance.
  • Demonstrate expertise in B2B conference marketing and employ strategies to maximize event visibility and attendance.
  • Work closely with the HR, law, and financial services sectors, leveraging industry knowledge to enhance marketing efforts.
  • Manage award nomination and table sales campaigns, driving engagement and revenue generation.
  • Collaborate with global teams, requiring flexibility in working hours to accommodate different time zones.
  • Bring valuable insights and propose improvements to enhance marketing strategies and achieve higher levels of success.

  • Proven experience in managing marketing campaigns for B2B conferences.
  • Strong leadership skills with previous experience managing a marketing team.
  • Track record of successfully delivering delegate targets and revenue forecasts.
  • Ability to provide direction and oversight to marketing copywriters.
  • Experience in marketing events within the HR, law, or financial services sectors will be considered a plus.
  • Knowledge of managing award nomination and table sales campaigns is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
