About the Role




We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Events & Field Marketing Coordinator to execute the regional marketing initiatives and events across Metro Vancouver and support other regional requests on an ad hoc basis. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams--including Marketing, Operations (bike, swim, and soccer teams) -- to deliver engaging brand experiences and ensure that local marketing activities align with corporate goals. You'll play a key part in event coordination, community partnerships, creative content development, and brand representation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys planning and logistics with creative collaboration and on-the-ground execution.

Key Responsibilities




Event & Field Marketing CoordinationCoordinate and execute regional events, activations, and community partnerships that elevate brand awareness. Support the development of local marketing plans in collaboration with the Marketing team. Support with event logistics, including venue booking, setup, staffing, and promotional material coordination. Engage with local pre-schools, daycares, pool locations, and camp hosts to plan thoughtful community initiatives. Set KPI targets and execute in-person brand building activations with local partners on a weekly basis. Ensure brand standards and messaging are consistently applied across all local marketing initiatives. Capture and organize event photos, stories, and highlights to support post-event reporting and social media use.


Cross-Functional CollaborationProvide administrative support to the internal and external stakeholders where needed, including processing invoices, taking notes, and organizing action items for team members. Work closely with corporate teams in Marketing and Operations (Bike, Swim, and Soccer) to execute projects and campaigns.
Collaborate with external partners to ensure assets are within budget, on time, and delivered at a high-quality.


Creative & Design SupportSupport the updating/type setting of marketing materials using Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). Support Marketing Coordinator in capturing event day photo and video content as required. Coordinate with external partners to update, organize, and maintain print assets on our storefront, ensuring timely delivery of materials to regional teams.


Community & Partnership EngagementResearch, plan and execute community partnerships. Ensure consistent brand representation at all public-facing events and partnerships.

Comfortable working independently while maintaining strong communication with cross-functional teams.




Preferred Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in marketing coordination, field marketing, and event management are preferred. Related experience in sales and customer service is also an asset. Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, business, or related fields is preferred but not required. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)and/or Canva is preferred but not required. Experience using Jira or other project management tools is an asset. Proficient with Microsoft suite ie. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience with social media management platforms. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in French and/or Chinese is a strong asset. A valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for events is a requirement.

What Success Looks Like



Planning, coordination and execution of 2-3 events per month. Large growth in our contacts for local partnerships in the next year. Event plans and de-briefs are executed thoughtfully and on time. Strong collaboration with internal teams results in cohesive, aligned initiatives. Regional activations generate measurable increases in brand awareness and engagement. Creative materials produced locally align with corporate brand standards. Added value to the marketing department through support with administrative and project centric tasks. Feedback from internal and external stakeholders reflects professionalism and reliability.

PAY




This position is a 12-month contract, full-time 40 hours per week from January 2026 - January 2027.


Must be available to work regular business hours, evenings, and weekends.


The successful candidate will be paid an hourly wage of

$22.00- $26.00 plus 4% vacation pay.
