About Us

A leading South Asian print and digital media platform in Canada. We cover community events, business stories, celebrity features, and cultural celebrations across the region.

We are expanding our media coverage team and are looking for an energetic, confident, and camera-friendly individual to conduct interviews and cover live events.

Key Responsibilities

Attend community, business, and cultural events for media coverage Conduct on-camera interviews with clients, business owners, celebrities, and event participants Represent our brand professionally at all events Collaborate with the videography and photography team Prepare interview questions and coordinate with event organizers Provide voiceovers, intros, and outros for video segments Assist with social media clips, reels, and promotional content Travel to event locations when required (local and nearby) Maintain a strong understanding of community activities and trends

Requirements

Confident on-camera personality with strong communication skills Experience in hosting, reporting, public speaking, or customer interaction Fluent in English (Punjabi/Hindi an asset) Professional appearance and courteous conduct Ability to work evenings, weekends, and event schedules Reliable transportation to attend event venues Basic knowledge of interviews, storytelling, or media coverage Team player with a positive attitude

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)

Experience in media, journalism, broadcasting, or PR Ability to write short scripts or interview notes Familiarity with South Asian community events Social media experience (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok)
