Events & Engagement Coordinator Role Description The Alberta Mortgage Brokers Association (AMBA) seeks an Events & Engagement Coordinator to join our high-performing, dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least two to three years of experience as an event coordinator and a proven relationship-building record. Reporting to the Manager of Events & Sponsorship, this role is responsible for assisting with the development, production, and delivery of our annual events and supporting the ongoing development and coordination of our sponsorship program. We look for a perfect mix of culture fit, experience and aptitude, and we are excited about mentoring the right person.** Key Role Accountabilities Event Coordination AMBA produces between 12-18 events annually, cumulating in a multi-day bi-annual provincial conference and tradeshow.
  • Assist with developing the annual events calendar with a strong focus on member engagement;
  • Live + virtual event production assistance;
  • Support the Manager-Events & Sponsorship in their day-to-day responsibilities;
  • Help develop event plans, critical paths, and production schedules for each event;
  • Assist with event logistics during all stages of the event production process;
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key event partners.
Sponsorship Program Support
  • Support the existing sponsorship strategy;
  • Develop and nurture relationships with industry partners and sponsors;
  • Assist with development of annual and initiative-specific sponsorship packages;
  • Track ongoing sponsorship fulfillment;
  • Develop creative strategies to over-deliver on our sponsorship promises.
Membership Engagement
  • Consult and liaise with potential member companies and individuals;
  • Assist with member-related questions and inquiries;
  • Manage AMBA\xe2\x80\x99s Affinity (member benefits) Program;
  • Build and nurture relationships with current and potential members.
