We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Event Assistant to support our operations and help bring our events to life.
Position Summary
The Event Assistant will work closely with the Owner and Catering Manager to ensure smooth planning and execution of events. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in both organization and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Packing supplies and equipment for each event
Working closely with the Owner and Catering Manager on event execution
Creating and preparing customer contracts
Following up with clients post-event for feedback and future opportunities
Stock control and inventory tracking
Organizing and maintaining catering supplies and equipment
Performing general administrative and operational support tasks
Qualifications:
Event planning or coordination experience is considered an asset
Food & Beverage experience is required
Education in Hospitality, Tourism, or Event Management is considered an asset
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Energetic, personable, and confident with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and goal-driven with a team-focused mindset
Trustworthy, responsible, and professional in all interactions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva, and general computer skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends
Physically capable of lifting and moving supplies
Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential
