We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our food service establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, managing food preparation and service, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. The Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, fostering team development, and upholding the highest standards of hospitality and food quality.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, serving, and food handling.
Manage team members through effective leadership, including interviewing, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Oversee customer service to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
Handle cash transactions accurately using Micros POS or similar systems; manage cash handling procedures.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
Assist in kitchen management tasks such as food safety protocols, inventory control, and ensuring quality standards are met.
Support restaurant management in implementing policies and procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.
Lead by example in hospitality excellence, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions with staff and guests.
Requirements
Proven experience in food service or restaurant management, with a background in supervising teams within the food industry preferred.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling skills required.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Background in hospitality or hotel industry experience is advantageous; barista or food industry experience is a plus.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
Previous experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles is highly desirable.
