We are seeking a highly professional, observant, and proactive

Tactical Security Guard

to maintain a strong security presence at a hotel. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent situational awareness, sound judgment, and strong interpersonal skills to ensure the safety of staff, customers, and property.

As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling the site inside and out, and observing the CCTV system from within the security office.

Responsibilities

Maintain a highly visible and vigilant security presence at all times on-site. Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety, security, and to keep noise levels at a minimum. Engage positively with hotel staff and customers, providing a sense of safety and customer service. Ensure the safety of all personnel, customers, and property through routine patrols and constant awareness. Quickly assess and respond to potential disturbances or threats. Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV and other security equipment Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Document activities, incidents, and occurrences within our computerized database. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.

Qualifications:

Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid security license and first aid certification Minimum 3 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience Strong understanding of security protocols and emergency response procedures Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Ability to stand and walk entire shift Valid class G Driver's License with clean driving record is an asset. Retired Law Enforcement and/or Military is an asset
Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week
