A busy and successful Veterinary Practice in Waterloo is in search of an enthusiastic and energetic Veterinary Technician to join the team. If you have the following qualifications apply today!

Qualifications



A current Veterinary Technician License in good standing or ability to receive your license in a 6-12 month time-frame At least 2-year of hands-on experience previously working as a Veterinary Technician The desire to perform a multitude of veterinary technician tasks including blood draws, catheter placement, obtaining urine/stool samples, surgical preparation and assistance, and MORE! A learning mindset as it is never too late to learn new skills or to improve the ones you already have Attention to detail and a high degree of organization A positive, friendly demeanor is a MUST!

Hours & Availability



This is a Full Time, Evening position! Waterloo West Animal Hospital hours of operation are as follows:

Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 12:00am Saturday: 9:00am - 9:00pm Sunday: 10:00am - 6:00pm
Position Hours

Monday - Friday 4pm - 12am Once the training period has been completed, a shift of 10am - 6pm, every other Sunday is required. A day off during the week is granted on the same week as the Sunday shift.

Compensation & Benefits



Our amazing team members can expect competitive pay and great benefits! The starting range for this position is $23-$28 per hour, dependent upon education and/or experience.
