Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable House Assistant to support daily household operations. The ideal candidate will be warm, friendly and possess strong organizational skills. This role involves a variety of tasks - some that recur each week and others that will be requested on an as-needed basis. We are seeking an individual who is committed to providing exceptional service in a residential setting.

Schedule

:

2 hours per evening, 5 days per week (Sunday-Thursday) Flexible hours within each evening -- between 4:00-9:00 p.m. on weekdays, and anytime on Sundays Located in Kanata North (must be able to get to and from our home independently; currently no public transit available in our neighbourbood)

Responsibilities include:

Cleaning the kitchen, such as loading and unloading the dishwasher Making kids' lunches for the following day Managing garbage, recycling, and compost Folding and putting away children's laundry Tidying children's bedrooms and main living areas Organizing cupboards, drawers, shelves, etc. Helping to clean up after our pets (dog and cats)

Ideal candidate:

Dependable, organized, and takes pride in keeping a home tidy Comfortable around pets and children Able to work efficiently and independently, although family will often be home during working hours Comfortable using translators like Google Translate if not proficient in English

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 10 per week

Work Location: In person
