overview:

Red Lion Express is a small commercial carrier that transports general freight. We have depots in Edmonton, Westlock, Wainwright and Barrhead. We are looking for a reliable detail-oriented and organized Biller to join our Edmonton Team. This Full-time position will start at 2 PM to 10:30 PM.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing billing processes, ensuring accuracy in invoicing, proficiency with Microsoft products, and previous billing experience would be a plus. If working a minimum of 20 hours a week, participation in our benefits program will commence after four months.

responsibilities include:

answer phones and record pick ups and assist in customer quotes and questions, Provide excellent customer service by addressing billing inquiries promptly. Invoice all inbound bills from Wainwright, Westlock, Barrhead, and parkland for local deliveries for the next day or to give over to interlines
oRate bills that come in from driver pick ups, central, and Truck-All,

- Ensure all bills have been cubed.

- Document all reports of claims, shortages, or damages from dock staff,

oAssist in organizing bills and sending out mid and end of the month statements,

Complete all other duties as reasonably assigned
Requirements:

- oExcellent organizational and attention to detail skills,

- oAdherence to confidentiality guidelines,

- oProficient in MS Office (especially Excel),

- oExcellent written and verbal communication skills,

- oWorking knowledge of relevant software such as Simple Accounting (e.g. SAGE)

- oExperience with bills of lading,

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Previous experience in billing, invoicing, or related administrative roles preferred.

This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
