We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Supervisor to oversee our bar operations in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food and beverage management, with a keen focus on customer service and team leadership. This role requires a blend of operational expertise, creativity, and the ability to foster a positive atmosphere for both staff and patrons.
Responsibilities
Manage daily bar operations, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency.
Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
Train, develop, and supervise bar staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
Create innovative drink menus that align with current trends and customer preferences.
Handle cash management duties, ensuring accurate cash handling practices are followed.
Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Implement training programs for staff on customer service, product knowledge, and bartending skills.
Monitor bar performance metrics and assist in budgeting processes to optimize profitability.
Foster a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business and enhances guest satisfaction.
Experience
Proven experience in the bar industry or similar roles within the food service industry.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
Experience in quick service & fast food restaurants as well as fine dining establishments is preferred.
Demonstrated ability in inventory control, cash handling, and shift management.
Background in hospitality management or restaurant management is essential.
Experience in supervising teams, conducting interviews, and fostering team development.
Knowledge of food handling procedures, food production, catering services, and banquet experience is advantageous.
