Summary

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee our operations at Fennec Kitchen & Bar located in the heart of the city. This role is vital in ensuring our restaurant runs smoothly while upholding our commitment to excellent service and culinary excellence. This position will require the candidate to work on the floor and manage the team. This position will start in October 2025.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service. Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to build a strong team. Maintain inventory control and manage supplies to minimize waste. Implement effective marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Proven experience bartending in a cocktail bar. Strong knowledge of food preparation, safety standards, and restaurant management practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Experience with inventory management and budgeting processes is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Pay

Salary/Pay will be based on experience. Since you will be working on the floor, you will be receiving tips.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
