We are currently seeking reliable and enthusiastic EV Delivery Contractors to join our team. Operating your fully electric vehicle (sedan, SUV, truck, etc), you play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of our clients' orders while contributing to a cleaner and greener environment. If you're a self-motivated individual with driving experience in Vancouver, who enjoys being a part of a zero emission initiative, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service, this position is perfect for you.

About Zipply

Zipply Logistics is a new start-up last mile delivery service that specializes in delivering all around Vancouver, with a focus on its high density areas like Downtown. We are committed to a completely zero emissions fleet, with an initial service of completely electric cargo trikes and electric vans.

At Zipply, we focus on bringing value, reliability, and efficiency to our customers, all while building and using sustainable and zero emissions infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate your own EV to transport packages to various destinations within the city.

- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with clients and customers.

- Ensure that all deliveries are completed accurately and within the specified timeframes.

- Use of our delivery technology (phone app, etc) to complete routes, communicate with customers and dispatch operations.

- Follow all traffic laws and safety guidelines to ensure personal and public safety.

- Handle and transport packages with care to prevent damage during transit.

Requirements:

- Must be at least 21 years old.

- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and abstract.

- Must have access to a fully electric vehicle with commercial insurance.

- At least 1-2 years of route driving experience is preferred.

- Ability to commit to a full daily route (8-10 hours, 30-40 deliveries) depending on your schedule.

- Must be comfortable using a cellphone, computer, and other delivery technologies

- Strong familiarity with the city's streets, neighborhoods, and landmarks.

- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.

- Customer service-oriented attitude with good interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to lift packages up to 50lbs.

- Must be able to access our warehouse and HQ in East Vancouver and Richmond.

- Prior experience as a courier or delivery driver is a plus.

- Commitment to adhering to environmental and safety standards.

- Safety focus at all times.

- Able to pass a criminal background check.
