Job Summary


PENTAX Canada Inc. has an opening for an EUS & Advanced Therapeutics Clinical Lead. This person will act as a key clinical expert and partner with our Sales team to support the achievement of territory objectives. This role will become an expert in EUS systems and their clinical applications, as well as provide expertise with our GI product lines in Advanced Therapeutics. The ideal candidate with have the ability to develop deep relationships with KOLs and have the self-motivation to drive value-based healthcare initiatives.


Main Responsibilities/Main Tasks of the

EUS & Advanced Therapeutics Clinical Lead

:


Provide expertise in sonography and/or EUS systems and act as the EUS clinical expert for the team in Canada. Deeply understand KOL's needs and how optimizing the use of our technology can help address those needs. Raise the profile of PENTAX within the Advanced Therapeutics arena. Take a lead role in EUS system evaluations across Canada, ensuring PENTAX stands out with our clinical knowledge of EUS and sonography, adding value to EUS physicians and patient outcomes. Educate and train current and potential customers and staff, becoming a trusted advisor in best practice clinical use of PENTAX Medical products, focused mainly on EUS and Advanced Therapeutics in GI. Communicate customer information that may lead to future sales opportunities to appropriate Territory Manager/ RBM. Uncover unmet customer needs and product or process improvement opportunities and bring that insight back to the business to help build customer-centric solutions. Research, compile and share current data on clinical best practice with respect to endoscopy and related products, practices and industry developments. Provide clinical support and expertise for projects, presentations, training or activities which drive best practice and support sales objectives. Support the sales team with EUS and GI clinical expertise in preparation for sales calls. Contribute to the development and delivery of product-related sales presentations. Represent PENTAX in national, and regional trade shows and society meetings to generate leads and develop the business. Attend conferences, exhibitions, seminars, and workshops to maintain clinical knowledge (including advances in therapies), and share with PENTAX Medical team. Tracks and reports on activities accurately and on-time within CRM systems. Responsible for planning, organizing and delivering Educational Study Days and Clinical workshops to current and prospective customers.


Qualifications:


University Degree in Science or Business, nursing or medical radiation science degree strongly preferred. Sonography experience a definite asset. Minimum 5 - 7 years' experience in the Healthcare industry, ideally sales or similar discipline (medical device sales). Strong clinical training/education background. Ideal candidate will be fluently bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of the medical device industry and familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures. Strong user of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. Ability to travel within Canada and occasionally to the US for business meetings. Excellent interpersonal skills in order to maintain a rapport with suppliers, customers and employees. Ability to lead without direct lines of influence (non-reporting relationships). Persistent attitude in identifying customer accounts and discovering customer needs and problems. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of hospital purchasing process and GPO influences on purchasing. * High degree of attention to detail and accuracy of work.
