Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Estimating/Project Manger to join our team in Winnipeg. This pivotal role involves overseeing project estimates to ensure accurate budgeting and resource allocation, supporting our mission to provide top-tier mechanical services. The Estimating Manager will play a key part in driving the success of our projects and maintaining our reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the preparation of detailed project estimates for mechanical systems. Collaborate with project teams to develop accurate cost projections. Review and analyze bid documents, drawings, and specifications. Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to prepare proposals. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing. Ensure all estimates comply with company standards and client requirements. Support project managers during the bidding process and project execution. Continuously improve estimating processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction estimating within the mechanical contracting industry. Strong proficiency with Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other estimating tools. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
