In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the estimation and project management of large contract work.
Responsibilities:
Preparing quotes for building owners, contractors, and tenders opportunities
Completing pre-qualification documents, reviewing drawings/specifications, developing proposals, and securing purchase orders/contracts
Conducting site visits and liaising effectively with consultants, engineers, general contractors, site supervisors, and other trades
Coordinating the preparation of drawings, material lists, safety plans, and field installation with site crews
Coordination of design, material, labour, subcontractors, and change orders
Effectively manage projects to successful and profitable completion
Other related duties as required
Qualifications:
Post Secondary Diploma from Seneca in Fire Protection Engineering, or related field of study
5+ years' experience in design, installation, sales, or project management in the fire protection industry
Demonstrated organizational skills
Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team
Experience quoting small renovation projects and larger deficiencies
