Responsibilities

- Oversee the estimating process from start to finish

- Utilize software to prepare accurate cost estimates

- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the overall cost

- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate pricing

- Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing

- Review and adjust estimates as necessary throughout the bidding process

- Monitor industry trends to ensure pricing competitiveness

Requirements

- Proven experience in construction estimating and project management

- Proficiency in using estimating software

- Strong analytical and mathematical skills

- Ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- Experience in Construction Management or related field is an asset

- Knowledge using Buildertrend is necessary.
