Job Description

Position Overview:

The Estimator / Junior Project Manager will support the planning, pricing, and execution of projects. This hybrid role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a desire to develop into a full project management role. You will work closely with senior project managers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimating:

Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate cost estimates. Solicit and review quotes from subcontractors and suppliers. Prepare and submit bid packages in a timely manner. Maintain and update cost databases and historical project data.

Project Management Support:

Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting. Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and on-site teams. Track project progress and help manage project documentation (RFIs, change orders, submittals, etc.). Attend site meetings and support day-to-day project coordination.

Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 1-3 years of experience in estimating or project coordination (internship or co-op experience may be considered). Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management or estimating software Procore, Sage, is an asset. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Eagerness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
