We are seeking a motivated Estimator / Project Manager Assistant to join our team. This hybrid role is designed for someone who is eager to grow within the company, take on responsibility, and establish themselves as a core member of our team.

Key Responsibilities

Estimating (60-70%)

Conduct takeoffs and prepare accurate cost estimates. Support tendering and bidding processes. Review drawings, specifications, and contracts. Apply strong knowledge of construction methodologies and sequencing in preparing estimates.
Project Management Assistance (30-40%)

Provide support to Project Managers with scheduling, documentation, and coordination tasks. Assist in communication between internal teams, subcontractors, and clients. Support daily project operations where needed.

Qualifications

Required:

Minimum 1 year experience in commercial interior renovation estimation (North America). Solid understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and job sequencing. Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including essay writing.
Preferred / Assets:

Post-secondary education in construction-related fields (architecture, engineering, construction management, etc). Previous hands-on construction experience. Fluency in Ukrainian, Polish, or Russian.

Compensation & Benefits

Rate: $24-$35/hour (depending on experience). Schedule: Full-time, hybrid (1 remote day per week). Benefits: Dental, vision, and medical coverage to be introduced in the near future. Work Environment: Newly renovated, modern office space.

Hiring Timeline

Shortlist of top 10 candidates for interviews. Flexible start date within 1-2 months (projected start around mid October).
