About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Construction Estimator

to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong experience in reviewing plans, performing takeoffs, and preparing accurate estimates for commercial construction projects. If you enjoy problem-solving, working with numbers, and helping win new work, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents. Perform quantity takeoffs for materials, labor, and equipment. Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for bids and budgets. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes. Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits. Collaborate with project managers to transition estimates into active projects. Maintain costing databases and track historical pricing. Provide value-engineering recommendations where possible.

What We're Looking For

Experience as a Construction Estimator. Ability to read architectural, structural, and civil drawings. Strong understanding of construction methods and material costs. Excellent math, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

Experience with budgeting or project management. Familiarity with local building codes and permitting.
