Randstad is excited to partner with a leading Design-Build Contractor in the GTA who are well established and have been consistently growing. Our client is looking for an experienced Estimator to work across Water and Sewer projects. Our client is a Medium sized contractor and there is a lot of opportunity internally for development and growth. This position will join an established, supportive team.Advantages

\xe2\x97\x8fPreparing estimates and proposals for planning, organizing, and scheduling project work
\xe2\x97\x8f Determining the total cost of construction project materials, equipment, utilities, and
labour
\xe2\x97\x8f Seek estimates from vendors and subcontractors
\xe2\x97\x8f Generate estimates from fundamental principles
\xe2\x97\x8f Manage all stages of the tender process.
\xe2\x97\x8f Handle bid closings and proposal submissions
\xe2\x97\x8f Facilitate the transition of projects to field operation teams
\xe2\x97\x8f Maintain a directory of suppliers and contractors
\xe2\x97\x8f Establish and nurture professional relationships with subcontractors, construction
personnel, supervisors, and the estimating team
\xe2\x97\x8f Regularly reporting to Management and keeping clients updated on the project statusQualifications
\xe2\x97\x8f Minimum of 4 years working as an Estimator within the Civil sector
\xe2\x97\x8f Experience in estimating principles and practices; planning, execution, pricing, and
vendor/subcontractor coordination
\xe2\x97\x8f Capable of deriving cost calculations for all tender aspects
\xe2\x97\x8f Well versed in estimating package software
\xe2\x97\x8fSpecific water and sewer estimation experience requiredSummary
