Job Description
OAKWOOD ROOFING is one of Manitoba's largest roofing contractors supplying & installing all types of roofing for all types of buildings in all parts Manitoba and NW Ontario. We were established in 1977 and have enjoyed a steady growth, earning a reputation for quality workmanship and dependability.
We are searching for an estimator for the residential division in our Winnipeg office.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with customers to determine their roofing needs;
- Create estimates for sloped roofing projects;
- Prepare work orders for specific projects;
- Co-ordinate with Supervisor to ensure projects are delivered as promised to the customers;
- Provide exceptional level of customer service.
- Minimum 2 years work experience with roofing;
- Physically able to attend job sites and erect & climb ladders;
- Solid understanding of roofing construction and processes;
- Excellent communication skills in English: verbal, written and email;
- Flexible team player that can work independently;
- Excellent attention to detail in a busy environment with ability to manage multiple estimates while maintaining high level of accuracy and exercise sound judgment;
- Accountable, reliable and organized with strong problem-solving skills;
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel;
- Valid class 5 license.
