Who We Are

Reflex Manufacturing Ltd. ("Reflex"), a 100% privately owned Canadian company, is a major supplier/manufacturer of Reusable Flexible Insulation Systems (insulation blankets) primarily servicing Western Canada's industrial insulation blankets. Located in Edmonton, our dedicated field and in-house Design Technicians create insulation blankets to customer specification, which are then manufactured by our highly skilled production team in Reflex's Edmonton-based fabrication facility. About the role

We currently has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual as

Estimator

. Reporting to the Senior Vice President and the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will estimate insulation blankets using Reflex's proprietary systems and processes, estimate both Request for Quote submitted by customers and field drawings by our Field Technicians.

Responsibilities

Receive customer RFQs and complete initial set up for project quotes. Estimate RFQs based on provided information and Reflex procedures and standards. Read plant insulation specifications to determine Reflex material and design specifications. Track progress and establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments as required. Estimate production quotes from provided field drawings. Ensure outputs meet production schedules, quality standards, and customer need, Ensure pricing is consistent and correct. Ensure quoting standards are consistent with the requirements. Review other Estimators' completed RFQ bid response and production quotes. Initiate production quotes to jobs and place on shop production schedule. Process warranty jobs Deliver exceptional customer service and handle customer inquiries.

Qualifications

New Graduate students will be considered. A technical diploma such as engineering or business is preferred. CAD/drafting experience is an asset. Experience in reading and understanding ISOs, P&IDs, GAs is an asset. Proficient use of MS Office suite especially Excel. Customer service experience with inbound and outbound calls. Can multitask and provide exceptional service to customers. Comfortable working in high volume role. Can prioritize tasks without direct instructions. Attention to details is a must. Aptitude to think analytically when job costing. Passion for producing high quality work. Self-starter with proven ability to work independently or within a small team. Excellent communication skills, problem solver.

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
