Ansept Construction Ltd. is a general contracting company based in Edmonton, focused on both residential and commercial projects. As we grow, we are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team and help us accurately assess project costs, prepare competitive bids, and contribute to our overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential and commercial construction projects Review blueprints, specifications, and related documents Conduct quantity take-offs and material/labour pricing Solicit and analyze quotes from subcontractors and suppliers Work closely with the project team to develop budgets and proposals Assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies Track and analyze actual costs against estimates to improve future accuracy

Qualifications:

2-5 years of experience in construction estimating Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and pricing Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Excel, etc.) Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills Strong communication and time-management abilities Post-secondary education in construction management, estimating, or a related field is preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
