Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs Prepare elemental format estimates (Classes B, C, D) Operate CADD and other computer software systems Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets and bids forms Utilize quantity take-off procedures Monitor and adjust contract expenditures Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications Install single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel
