We're now seeking an accomplished

Estimator

for our

Building & Construction Division

, driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and excel in estimating and winning profitable bids.

The Opportunity





We are seeking an

experienced and detail-oriented Estimator

to join our growing team. The

Estimator

will lead DNM Group's

multi-disciplinary estimating function

across our Civil & Building Departments. This senior role is responsible for scoping, developing winning bids, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and the profitability of bids, and aligning estimating practices with DNM's growth objectives.



You will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of

accurate, competitive, and comprehensive cost estimates

across a wide range of projects, including

civil site development, excavation, underground services, building activities, renovations and general construction

- in projects ranging from new builds to renovations, from stand-alone property development, to developing suburbs, residential to commercial and/or industrial builds.



This role requires strong technical judgment, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to bridge practical field experience with analytical estimating expertise. As a key senior member of our team, you'll be hands-on in preparing estimates while also contributing to the development of estimating systems, processes, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities




Estimating & Bid Management

+ Oversee preparation and review of complex bids and proposals.
+ Provide high level approval on cost estimates, schedules, and risk assessments.
+ Ensure competitive pricing strategies while safeguarding profitability.

Collaboration & Multi-Disciplinary Integration

+ Partner with project management, engineering, and operations teams to align estimates with execution strategies.
+ Engage with clients, business development, vendors, and subcontractors to build strong market intelligence and competitive advantage.

Governance & Risk Management

+ Implement and monitor controls to manage estimating risks.
+ Drive continuous improvement in cost modeling, data accuracy, and project forecasting.



What You Bring




10+ years of progressive experience in estimating, with a proven record in

civil construction and multi-disciplinary building projects

. 5+ years in an

Estimating R

ole

. Strong knowledge of construction estimating software, cost modeling, and project risk analysis. Exceptional leadership, mentoring, and communication skills. Thriving in a fast-paced, multi-industry environment.
