The Estimator Coordinator plays a crucial role in the construction estimating process, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of estimates for various projects. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage multiple tasks while collaborating with project managers, clients, and subcontractors. The Estimator Coordinator will utilize software tools such as Bluebeam and B2W to facilitate the estimating process and support negotiation efforts.
Duties
Create, maintain, and execute estimating policies and procedures (inclusive of the setup of a bidding platform).
Support and assist in the coordination of construction activities
Prepare detailed construction estimates based on project specifications and requirements.
Attend project meetings with internal and external parties to gain exposure on Park Construction Estimating to gather necessary information for accurate pricing
Collaborate with managers to gather necessary information for accurate pricing.
Utilize Bluebeam for document management and takeoffs to enhance estimating efficiency.
Knowledge of B2W for bids and managing project costs effectively.
Conduct thorough analysis of project plans, specifications, and scope of work to identify potential risks and opportunities.
Assist in negotiations with clients and subcontractors to secure favorable terms.
Maintain organized records of estimates, revisions, and correspondence related to bidding activities.
Execution on the day of closing for tenders and bids.
Assist with the setup and preparation of prequalification proposals.
Support the management team by providing timely updates on estimate status and any changes in project scope.
Issue purchase orders for materials and subcontractors.
