Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will play a crucial role in evaluating project costs and preparing accurate estimates for various projects. This position requires strong mathematical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze our customer drawings effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience in estimating within the construction industry and will be responsible for ensuring that all estimates are completed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. Collaborate with store managers and customers to gather necessary information for accurate estimates. Prepare detailed proposals that outline project scope, timelines. Conduct site visits to assess project requirements may be required. Assist in the negotiation process with clients and subcontractors regarding pricing and contract terms.

Skills

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex drawings. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and clients. Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in calculations and documentation. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and regulations is preferred but not required. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
