Opportunity
We are seeking
Evening & Weekend ESL Volunteers
to provide conversational English support for our international students. This is a rewarding opportunity to share your time and skills to help students build fluency, confidence, and cultural understanding.What You'll Do
Engage ESL students in
casual English conversations
(one-on-one or in small groups). Encourage speaking confidence through discussion, games, and real-life scenarios. Share insights into Canadian culture, customs, and daily communication. Support students' social integration within the FEIA community.Who We're Looking For
Retired teachers, ESL instructors, or community members with teaching/mentoring experience. Individuals who have taught ESL overseas or in Canada (asset but not required). Patient, friendly, and culturally sensitive volunteers. Strong communication skills in English.
Time Commitment
Evening and weekend availability. Flexible scheduling - as little as
2 hours per week
