Job Description
Philopateer Christian College Ottawa is seeking a passionate and dedicated English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher for the primary grades. We are a Christ-centered school community committed to nurturing academic excellence, character development, and faith in every student.
Key Responsibilities:
o Teach and support students in developing English language skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening
o Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of learners at various English proficiency levels
o Collaborate with classroom teachers to support student success across subjects
o Create a welcoming and inclusive environment rooted in Christian values
o Foster spiritual, academic, and social growth in students
Qualifications:
o Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent
o Experience working with primary students in language development an asset
o Strong commitment to Christian education and modeling Christ-like values
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$51,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
