Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated ESL Teacher to join our team on an independent contractual basis. The role involves teaching both
online and in-person classroom sessions
using pre-developed materials throughD2L Brightspace
. Teachers will focus on lesson delivery and student support.Responsibilities
Deliver ESL lessons online and in-person using D2L content Facilitate interactive learning and support student engagement Provide constructive feedback and track learner progress Maintain professionalism and reliability as an independent contractor
Qualifications:
TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA certification (preferred) Experience with PBLA, CLB, and/or IELTS preparation (an asset)
Prior experience teaching ESL to diverse learners (online and/or classroom)
Strong communication, adaptability, and organizational skills
Terms:
This is a
contract-based position
(independent contractor status)Flexible scheduling; hours depend on class demand.
Compensation:
$2.50 CAD per 30-minute class session
.Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
