A career as a Senior Developer in ESG Data Engineering on the Corporate Sustainable Development team at National Bank means contributing directly to the maintenance, support and evolution of the ESG data environment (environment, social, governance). This job allows you to have a concrete impact thanks to your expertise in data engineering, strategic thinking and ability to implement data governance best practises.

Your job



Be the main user of the Nasdaq/Metrio solution and participate in its integration. Help define and develop the ESG data management strategy. Maintain and update the ESG data environment. Design, consolidate, develop and maintain multiple data ingestion flows into the data environment, in collaboration with the platform team. Support data owners in applying best practices and managing their data optimally. Apply the principles of data quality, confidentiality and governance in all activities related to the position.

The Corporate Sustainable Development team in Finance brings together experienced specialists who work together in an agile, proactive and innovative way to support the Bank's ESG strategy. You will be part of a Canada-wide, multidisciplinary team dedicated to creating long-term value under the leadership of the Vice-President - Corporate Sustainable Development. Our team stands out for its cross-sector vision, rigour and commitment to innovation.

Prerequisites



University degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, statistics or a related field 5 to 10 years of experience in data engineering, data management or business analysis, ideally in the ESG, financial or analytics sectors Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) Experience in designing and developing massive data flows and data valorisation Knowledge of Nasdaq/Metrio or a similar environment, an asset

The position will be based in Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, depending on the location of the candidate selected
