Job Description


:Position Summary:Under the general direction of the Applications Architect, ERP Solutions, this position is responsible for compiling and analyzing data, building reports and for making recommendations for effective strategies for player retention and revenue growth. Ensures adherence to all policies and procedures motivates and leads by example and provides a learning environment.This is a 14-month contract.Key Accountabilities:

  • Act as Oracle Report Developer for the Oracle Cloud ERP.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to produce report designs.
  • Follow Oracle BI development best practices and ERP development team procedures.
  • Create Reports and Forms - Develop Oracle BI Reports with cross subject areas/functional areas analysis.
  • Develop Oracle Custom Fast Formulas with cross subject areas/functional areas to customize payroll calculations and other functionalities to meet business requirements.
  • Build and maintain companywide reports, dashboards and scorecards in Oracle HCM utilizing Business Intelligence tools such as OTBI and BI Publisher that enable teams to make evidence-based decision-making.
  • Design & development multiple custom reports to match business users\' requirements.
  • Works closely with stakeholders to determine requirements for data, reports, analysis, metadata, training, service levels, data quality and performance. Respond promptly and fully to requests from ticketing system for ad hoc analysis and reports.
  • Participate in validation and testing of report related updates in quarterly Oracle HCM upgrades.
  • Collaborates with various cross-function teams to achieve business results.
  • Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure compliance with all data management policy and procedure including crown corporation partners.
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate systems and resolve issues.
  • Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned
Education and Qualification Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree in science, technology, engineering, math, economics, business, statistics or an equivalent field with a focus on business intelligence & analytics.
  • Minimum of 3 years\' experience in business intelligence/data analytics.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in written & verbal English in order to deliver analytical insights to stakeholder groups.
  • Experience with OTBI, BI Publisher, Fast Formula, HCM Extracts, Oracle Queries and HCM an asset.
  • A curious analytical mind, strong attention to detail and quick learner, ability and willingness to work under a strictly regulated data management environment an asset.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
