Position: ERP Systems Manager
Location: Toronto
The ERP Systems Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of enterprise resource planning platforms. This role ensures the ERP environment supports business needs by driving system stability, integrating with other core applications, and delivering data-driven insights. Acting as both a strategic leader and hands-on problem solver, the manager collaborates with business and technology teams to enhance processes, ensure compliance, and maximize the value of ERP investments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of ERP systems.
- Manage upgrades, patches, and enhancements with minimal business disruption.
- Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and align system capabilities with organizational goals.
- Guide a team of ERP analysts and developers, providing mentorship and ensuring effective collaboration.
- Oversee system integrations with applications such as CRM, supply chain, warehouse, and analytics platforms.
- Ensure data governance, accuracy, and security across ERP modules.
- Develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards to support decision-making.
- Implement security policies, access controls, and compliance measures.
- Manage ERP-related projects, including planning, budgeting, and vendor coordination.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and adoption of emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in ERP management, system administration, or similar roles.
- Strong understanding of ERP architecture, integrations, and data structures.
- Proficiency with database and query languages (e.g., SQL) and knowledge of core business functions such as finance, supply chain, or operations.
- Demonstrated success managing system upgrades, enhancements, and cross-functional projects.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field (preferred).
- Experience with modern ERP platforms (cloud or on-premise) and related certifications are an asset.
