Position Summary


This position is responsible for administering, developing, configuring, and enhancing the organization's ERP (Ellucian Banner) integrations. Successful candidate is responsible for connecting and streamlining data flow between an organization's ERP system and other business applications. Candidate ensures that these systems work together seamlessly, enabling efficient business processes and data sharing. Utilizes technology to improve efficiency in systems administration, security, and data analytics, ensuring data integrity and ecosystem cohesion through non-ERP integration and development tools.


Duties & Responsibilities


Create, configure, and manage Ellucian Banner integrations including Ethos SDK, solution APIs, Ellucian Experience, Data Connect, etc.

Create, update, and maintain Banner Ethos Data Models, Banner Business Processes and other Banner Data models.

Develop and maintain workflows and system modifications across platforms or modules within the Ellucian Banner environment.

Develop, maintain and manage the technology and content of Ellucian Experience for both web and mobile installs.

Automation and orchestration of containerized applications, ensuring they are deployed, managed, and scaled effectively across various environments. This includes creating, deploying,
monitoring, and managing containers.


Conduct thorough testing to ensure a smooth and bug-free integration/development process.

Work closely with various departments to gather content requirements and ensure that the intranet meets the needs of all stakeholders.

Provide support to users, troubleshoot issues, and conduct training sessions to ensure effective use of Ellucian Banner.

Manage user permissions and ensure the security of Ellucian Banner.

Monitor the performance of Banner environments and implements improvements as needed.

Perform other duties as required.




Qualifications


Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field. 3 years of experience in Ellucian Banner administration or development and 2 years of container administration experience. OR an equivalent combination of training and/or experience may be substituted for the required qualifications.


Skills and Abilities

Expert Proficiency in Banner technology (eg Ethos) including the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Banner functionality, data integrity, and system performance. Proficiency in SQL queries to access and manipulate data within Banner database. Experience with web development. Demonstrated analytical and troubleshooting skills. Sound judgement and superior critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent and proven interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a team. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across departments with staff, faculty and students. Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills and the ability to handle situations with tact, diplomacy and confidentiality. Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at any given time. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.


Salary Range - Prorated based on FTE


Paygrade 28 (*Pay Grade under review)- $38.56- $45.24 per hour ($2699.2 - $3166.8 bi-weekly)
