Position Details

Are you a great communicator who is tech savvy and loves to learn? We're looking for someone to help us connect with future students, from their first "Hey, I'm interested!" to "I'm registered!"

In this role, you'll be the go-to for crafting content that gives future students the right info at the right time, in a way that makes sense to them. You'll help manage and improve the tools we use to connect with future students (like emails, websites, virtual tour, chatbot, third-party online platforms, and more), making sure everything is clear, engaging, and on point.

You'll report to the manager, strategic enrolment communications & marketing, and work closely with the enrolment, admissions, and communications & marketing teams to keep the flow of information running smoothly and support national recruitment efforts. If you're organized, creative, and excited to help people take the next step in their education journey, we'd love to have you on the team!

Responsibilities include:Writing. A lot. Emails, landing pages, web content, custom responses, all with our brand voice and audiences in mind. The messages will be thoughtful, timely, and based on real data, so we're always speaking to what future students care about. The goal is to guide them smoothly from "just looking" to "ready to apply," and beyond. Manage and update our online recruitment platforms (think web pages, virtual tour, chatbot, email tools). If you are pretty techy, we'll teach you the ropes. Make sure the content is clear, up-to-date, and helpful. You'll write and edit content, check that everything matches our enrolment goals, and work with different teams across campus to keep things accurate. You'll also do some testing to make sure everything works well and report on how it's all performing. Dive into data to see what's working and what's not and adapt your strategy accordingly. Stay up to date on digital trends (yes, TikTok counts) and suggest fresh ideas to keep us ahead of the curve. Share your insights and suggestions with the team to help shape content. Take part in events like Open House, campus tours, student orientations, and even some recruitment travel. Basically, anywhere we get to connect with future students and their families. Be a proud ULethbridge ambassador, answering questions, sharing your knowledge, and helping students feel excited and supported.

Please submit your:Resume Cover Letter, and Two non-academic writing samples (papers or assignments)
