They will gather feedback and contributions from those with aligned lived experience to guide the creation, promotion and offering of events. The Equity & Belonging Events Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Communications team to ensure cultural events are being honoured, recognized, and celebrated. They may also support the creation of training opportunities offered through Recruitment & Retention and/or Learning and Development. The Equity & Belonging Events Coordinator takes the lead on preparing items in advance of events including the development and production of signage of banners, invitations, and marketing materials to assist in the promotion of events, respecting access for multi-site and virtual workforces. They will research options on catering, event locations, representation of leadership, invitations to community, photography, etc. They will also adhere to financial protocols related to budgets and expenses.Hours of Work75 hours bi-weeklyYour Qualifications
