Report on key performance on a regular basis.
Conduct structure audits on a regular basis.
Increase fleet availability while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.
Oversee and coordinate configuration and obsolescence management tasks.
Acts as an interface between the operational business and the KNDS system engineering division
Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus with clear actions that drive results.
Recommends, implements, and evaluates policies, procedures, and standards for all aspects of the work performed.
Drive significant cost reductions across all aspects of the LTSS contract.
Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts
2. Qualifications and Skills
Education & Qualifications (Required)
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet management, technical operations, or equipment support.
Experience in defense, CAF or manufacturing, or heavy equipment industries preferred.
Prerequisite Training / Certifications
Project Management or Operations Management training (e.g., PMP or equivalent) preferred.
Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) awareness training.
Familiarity with military standards or defense contracting is an asset.
Technical Skills (Hard Skills)
Proficiency in fleet management systems and MS Office Suite.
Ability to analyze operational data, generate reports, and present actionable insights.
Knowledge of configuration management, obsolescence planning, and technical audits.
Understanding of quality management standards (ISO, LTSC).
