We are looking for our next Equipment Specialist to join the Surgical Equipment Sales team, in Alberta and Manitoba. As an Equipment Specialist you are a lifelong learner and subject matter expert who works collaboratively with Account Managers to educate and train end users on technology/technique, optimize surgical parameters, trial new consumable technologies and execute surgical equipment evaluations and validations to close sales opportunities.As an Equipment Specialist, your typical daily responsibilities will include:\xc2\xb7 Equipment Support and Optimization:o Delivering value by coaching end users on product enhancements, surgical parameter optimization, intraoperative technique, and procedure changes, ensuring ongoing proficiency with evolving procedures and technology.\xc2\xb7 Clinical Competency and Reliability:o Demonstrating clinical expertise and reliability through a regular presence in the operating room with Alcon surgical equipment users.\xc2\xb7 Product Trials and Showcase:o Execute product trials in the operating room or wet lab settings to showcase features, benefits, and functionality to Alcon equipment users.\xc2\xb7 Technical Excellence in Surgical Procedures:o Maintain technical excellence in Cataract and Vitreoretinal Surgery, and ophthalmic surgical visualization through continuous learning.\xc2\xb7 Intra-operative Troubleshooting Support:o Provide primary support for troubleshooting during surgeries, ensuring smooth intra-operative experiences for end users.\xc2\xb7 Leads Generation and Sales Leadership:o Generate leads, draft sales proposals, and lead the equipment sales process with a focus on meeting end users\' needs.\xc2\xb7 Accurate Site Visit Documentation:o Document site visits accurately and promptly, capturing essential details to enhance customer support and outcomes.\xc2\xb7 Support for Employee Training:o Support Alcon Employee Instrumentation training programs, contributing to the skill development of employees for improved overall performance.What you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring to Alcon:\xc2\xb7 University Degree, Preferred: B.SC., B.
