We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for an Equipment Specialist. The work location for this position is North America and is considered flexible for the Prairies and Eastern Canadian sites.

The Opportunity:

The position of Equipment Specialist manages all areas / activities relating to auction site equipment standards & descriptions, equipment data quality control, auction sequencing, shoot price management, auction advertising, year verification, VIN management, & auction advertising. There will be a heavy focus on data quality and meeting SLAs. The Equipment Specialist is the subject matter expert on equipment descriptions, standards, sequence and other asset management functions for TM\xe2\x80\x99s and local yard staff. This person works directly with the ROMs, Yard Managers, TMs and RSMs for their perspective regions, on all but not limited to the above. This multi-functional position is constantly dealing with tight deadlines associated with all the auction life cycle milestones such as advertising dates, catalogue, and lot number, they are not only dealing with tight deadlines but high-quality deliverables.

In this role you\xe2\x80\x99ll:

Manage auction sequencing, shoot price, ring splits, choice & privilege for all site-based auctions held in the region of Prairies and Eastern Canada regions (assisting US sites when available).

Manage all asset pre-inspection quality control, ensuring consistency and quality for all equipment data on our public facing website and biding applications pre-inspection.

Manage the year and VIN verification for all assets sold in their perspective region.

Acquire all photos and data of all asset information for the sites auction advertising.

Here\xe2\x80\x99s what you bring:

Diploma or equivalent experience

Microsoft Office

Minimum 5 years of related experience

Bilingual (French/English) candidate preferred * Self-motivated

  • Excellent communication skills
This job will require you to:

Setting shoot price, ring splits, choice & privilege, sequence for multiple sales at multiple sites.

Deciding to advertise the year of manufacture based on resources and S/N information. VIN verification and recording when the year cannot be identified.

Deciding on what to forward to marketing for auction advertising.

Ensuring global equipment description consistency following the Equipment Standards Manual.

Clean up contract data by research, following up with sales and potentially contacting OEM\xe2\x80\x99s and local dealers, to fill in incomplete information ensuring the best possible customer experience displaying equipment information online or in our external applications.

Multi-tasking multiple sale sequencing ensuring minimal to no overlap.

Managing appropriate ring splits so sale day does not exceed abnormal selling times.

Working with Yard Managers to adjust sequencing to accommodate line-up requests from the site but adhering to sequencing standards as much as possible.
