Overview

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on

Equipment Repair Manager

to oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our equipment fleet. This role requires both strong technical knowledge and leadership skills to ensure minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage daily operations of the equipment repair department Diagnose, troubleshoot, and coordinate repairs for a wide range of machinery/equipment Supervise and train repair technicians (if applicable) Maintain accurate maintenance logs, schedules, and compliance records Collaborate with operations and procurement to ensure timely part ordering Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards Implement preventative maintenance programs Manage repair costs and suggest process improvements

Equipment Maintenance & Repairs:

Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair restoration equipment such as:

Air movers

Dehumidifiers

Air scrubbers

Other electrical/mechanical tools

Perform routine maintenance and testing to ensure equipment readiness. Maintain repair logs and service records for all equipment. Identify faulty parts and coordinate replacements or repairs. Work with vendors for parts and technical support when needed.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of

electrical or mechanical repair

, especially related to restoration equipment. Ability to diagnose and fix small motors, fans, electronics, or similar systems. Good understanding of warehouse best practices (inventory, safety, logistics). Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license (forklift certification a plus).

Preferred:

Experience in

restoration, remediation, or HVAC

industry. Basic electrical or mechanical certifications.
