POSITION SUMMARY: MasTec Canada is currently accepting resumes from Grande Prairie and surrounding areas, for the following positions:

• Zoom Boom Operators
• Excavator Operators
• Skid Steer Operators

Anticipated start date in October 2023 and going into 2024. Work will be in camp located in Northeastern, British Columbia as well as local to Grande Prairie. There is a potential for longer term work pending successful future project award. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3 years experience of operating equipment
• First Aid
• H2S Alive
• CSO

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Take reasonable care of your own and others\xe2\x80\x99 health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for promoting and living out MasTec Canada\xe2\x80\x99s 6 Core Values
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Safety Tickets
• Ability to identify and report hazards
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
• Effective attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules
