Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated Equipment Operators to join our team. Ideal candidates will have experience operating heavy machinery and an understanding of mechanical systems. The roles involve working in all aspects of sand and gravel operations, including RCC.(Rolled Compacted Concrete)ensuring that all equipment is operated safely and efficiently to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment such as Rock Trucks, Backhoes, and Loaders, for all aspects of sand and gravel operations. Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality. Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including cleaning, lubricating, and minor repairs. Collaborate with team members to build, dig, and move materials as required by project specifications. Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.

Skills

Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment including rock trucks, backhoes, and loaders effectively. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair minor equipment issues. Ability and willingness to do labor intensive tasks when required. Problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
