Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy machinery such as dozers, loaders, excavators, graders, backhoes, and other construction equipment. This role requires mechanical knowledge and experience with various types of heavy equipment . The Equipment Operator will play a vital role in ensuring project safety, quality, and timely completion.

Duties

Operate heavy construction equipment including dozers, loaders, excavators, graders, dump trucks and skid steers with precision and safety. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Coordinate with project managers and team members to execute tasks efficiently. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities. Support other construction activities requiring mechanical knowledge or heavy equipment operation.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as dozers, loaders, excavators, graders, backhoes, dump trucks and skid steers. Mechanical knowledge related to heavy construction equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Valid commercial driver's license (1A) preferred or required based on project needs & clean driving abstract. Strong understanding of construction safety standards and practices. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy loads when necessary. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $17.00-$36.58 per hour
